Mayor’s factory actions not surprising

I just finished reading the article describing your esteemed mayor ignoring the legal requirements for demolishing the pecan factory building, and one more time I thanked God that I was able to escape your beautiful town.
I lived in Natchez for most of my life, and owned and operated a construction company that completed many projects for the city and county, and was always amazed at the way your city and county governments interpreted and applied rules and regulations.
It seems that the entire governmental structure is composed of small empires, closely guarded by the various dictators.
I had some dealings with your present mayor, and am not the least bit surprised by anything he does.
In my opinion, he learned a good portion of his people skills from Mayor Charles Evers of Fayette and the Rev. Jessie Jackson, with a dab of Al Sharpton thrown in.
Ya’ll have fun now … y’hear?
