Services for Sam Lee Jr., 67, of Waterproof, who died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at Riverland Medical Center, in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Birdon officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Lee was born Dec. 9, 1939, in Waterproof, the son of Sam Lee Sr. and Amelia England. He was a farmer and a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Ferriday.

Survivors include his stepmother, Alma Banks of Waterproof; his sons, Paul T. Lee of Houston, Samuel Lee Johnson and wife, Loria, of Waterproof, Michael W. Johnson and wife, Shawanda, of Hammond, La., Don Gill and wife, Verna, of Indianapolis and Ernest R. Johnson and wife, Tracy, of Nashville, Tenn.; daughters, Pauline D. Lee of Houston, Chan Bethel and husband, Robert, and Sandra Lee Reider and husband, Dewayne, all of Waterproof; brothers, Charlie Lee, Henry Jordan Jr., James Jordan and Robert Jordan, Freddie Jordan, all of Chicago, Roosevelt Lee and Isaac Lee and wife, Delorise, all of Houston; sisters, Maeola Carvin of Clayton, Mary L. Harden and husband, Billy, of Port Gibson, Alma Lee of Monroe, La., Carolyn Jordan, Linda Jordan, both of Chicago, and Alice M. Banks of Waterproof; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; special friend, Marion Roach of Waterproof.
