Services for Mamie Campbell, 82, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with Dr. Edgar Wright officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Campbell was born Oct. 15, 1924, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Harry and Eudora McCurley Mathis. She was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church. She attended school in Roxie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and foster parents, Emmit and Laura Hunt of Roxie.

Survivors include her sons, Carlton Dean Campbell of Gillette, Wyo. and David Earl Campbell of Natchez; grandson, David Carol Mirra of Vidalia; granddaughter, Summer Lindey Campbell of Natchez; great-granddaughter, Dayla Madison Juarez; great-grandson, Jared Emanuel Juarez, both of Natchez; and sister, Pearl Ellard of Jonesville.

Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Morgantown Baptist Church.
