At least one, possibly two, murder trials will take place in the Adams County Courthouse in March.
Both defendants pleaded not guilty at their arraignments.
The trial of Brittany Kelly, 16, charged with murdering her mother in September, will be held 9 a.m. March 29.
Kelly was arrested on a grand jury indictment for the Sept. 24 death of her mother, Jacquelyn Thompson, 35.
Thompson died of a gunshot wound to the head at her Proby Road house.
Officials said at the time there was evidence at the house of breaking and entering.
Kelly was later charged with two counts of uttering a forgery. She allegedly signed two checks in September to look as if they were signed by family members.
She was released on a combined bond of $120,000 with restrictions. She may not leave the county, and she may have no contact with potential witnesses in her case. She also must abide by a curfew set by the judge.
The trial for Natchez resident Kevin D. Book, 2811 Itasca Drive, charged with shooting two men outside a Natchez nightclub in August, was originally scheduled for March, but his attorney said the date has been postponed.
“We’re making sure the necessary steps are being taken,” attorney Tim Cotton said Tuesday. “A motion for a psychiatric evaluation has been filed and granted, and we’re waiting on the results before a date is set.”
Book was indicted on two counts of murder — that of Roy Rushing, 49, and Michael McMillin, 31, both of Concordia Parish. The men were both found shot at close range, officials said, outside In the Mix nightclub on Homochitto Street in Natchez.
A dispute between Book and McMillin might have taken place at the nightclub earlier that night, officials said at the time.
Book reportedly led police on an 11-hour search before his arrest.
