Services for Lupece Kelly, 70, of Waterproof, who died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at Riverland Medical Center, in Ferriday, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Springfield Baptist Church with the Rev. James Beverly officiating.

Burial will follow at Loamland Cemetery, in Waterproof, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kelly was born March 15, 1937, in Waterproof, the daughter of Will Cole and Ella Blackmon. She was a retired motel housekeeper. She was a member of Greenfield Baptist Church in Waterproof. She was a member of O.E.S. No. 33rd Chapter of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Will Cole.

Survivors include her mother, Ella Elliot of Marrero; her sons, Pastor Percy Cole of Dallas, Texas, George Kelly of Ferriday, Barney Cole and wife, Stephanie, of Tyler, Texas and Larry Cole of Waterproof; daughters, Tracy Holmes and husband, Joseph, of Ferriday, Betty J. Kelly of Waterproof, Lupece M. Howard and husband, Willie, of Killeen, Texas and Sarah A. Williams of Madison, Wis.; a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts and uncles.
