The turmoil created by our elected officials in Natchez has prompted the penning of this letter.

I am 88 years old and a Democrat subscriber since 1950. This fact, and 56 years of living in Natchez, qualifies this as a “thought for the day.”

The worst politicians are elected by people who do not vote.
