Services for Lucy Mae Claiborne, 70, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. James Washington officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home, Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Claiborne was born May 2, 1936, in Vidalia, the daughter of James and Lizzie Taylor Claiborne.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Mary F. Wilson.

Survivors include her sons, James Claiborne and David D. Claiborne, both of Ferriday; six grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren, cousins and other relatives.
