Services for Mae Ella Singleton, 62, of Woodville, who died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Singleton Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Cleveland Spencer officiating.

Burial will follow at East Cedar Rest Cemetery, in Woodville, under the direction of Wells Funeral Home, Woodville.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Singleton was born in Woodville, the daughter of Lawrence Cage Sr. and Merdis Cage. She graduated from Paul Quinn College receiving a B.S. Degree in Education. Her employment included Natchez High School and Jefferson Workforce Connection of New Orleans. She was a member of Greater King Solomon Baptist Church in New Orleans and Macedonia Baptist Church in Woodville. Mrs. Singleton was also a member of Wilkinson County Alumni Association-New Orleans Chapter.

She was preceded in death by her father; and sister, Diane Cage.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Singleton of Woodville; a son, Brainards Singleton; and daughter, Latanya Singleton.

Pallbearers will be Byron Cage, Darryl Cage, Sinclair Neyland, Albert Robinson, Robert Singleton Jr. and Ronnie Singleton.
