Services for George Forrest Goins, 64, of Jonesville, who died Friday, April 13, 2007, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church with Bros. Joel Ford and Danny Chance officiating.

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery in Manifest, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday.

Mr. Goins was born May 11, 1942, in Port Gibson, the son of George and O’Quilla Goins. He was a member of Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church and served in the United States National Guard.

Mr. Goins was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce Brown Goins; son, George Heath Goins; and sister, Gerald Elliott.

Survivors include his daughter, Khristy Rissmiller and husband, James, of Jonesville; Daniel Edward Goins of Jonesville; brother, Roger Goins and wife, Marie, of Long View, Wash.; and sister, Vera Anitta Stewart of Harrisonburg.
