Services for Donald Edwin Walsh, 70, of Woodville, who died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Field Memorial Hospital in Centreville, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Woodville with the Rev. Ed Lundin officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Brown Funeral Home of Gloster.
Mr. Walsh was born Jan. 4, 1937, in Crosby, the son of Arthur John Walsh and Eula Beatrice McCurley Walsh. He was a longtime attorney at law, a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church, a United States Army Veteran and a graduate and supporter of Mississippi State University, as well as a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Nancy Walsh of Woodville; daughters, Kimberly Walsh Walters and husband, Andrew, of Starkville and Karen Elizabeth Walsh of New Orleans; grandchildren, Kathryn Beatrice Walters and Andrew Joshua “Drew” Walters, both of Starkville; uncle, Cletus McCurley of Gloster; and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Donald Walsh’s name to St. Episcopal Church or Mississippi State University General Scholarship Fund, Starkville, MS.
