A Memorial Mass for Salvadore Anthony Piazza Jr., who died Friday, April 13, 2007, at his residence in Piedmont, S.C., will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Patrick Ferrell, of Vicksburg, officiating.
Mr. Piazza was born July 21, 1945, in Fayette, the son of Freda Brown Piazza and the late Salvadore Anthony Piazza Sr. He was a self-employed specialty contractor in Piedmont, S.C.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Beasley Piazza of Piedmont, S.C.; his daughters, Emily and Jessica Piazza, both of Micanopy, Fla.; a stepson, Ronald Taylor of Greenville, S.C.; his mother, Freda Piazza of Rodney; sisters, Vincentine Williams of Spanish Fort, Ala., Veronica Yockey of Greenville, S.C., Patricia Murphy of Natchez and Camella Richardson of Rodney; brother, Michael Piazza of Rodney; step granddaughters, Morgan and Maya Taylor of Greenville, S. C.; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A memorial service was held in Piedmont, S. C. on April 19. Cremains will be interred in the Natchez City Cemetery in a private ceremony.
