NATCHEZ — Services for Mamie Griffin, 96, of Natchez, who died Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Trace Haven Nursing Home, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park under the direction of Williams and Williams Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Griffin was born March 29, 1911, in Mississippi, the daughter of Ruben Matthews and Rosie Thomas. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Griffin; sister, Lorena Stewart; brother, James Stewart; stepdaughter, Geraldine Williams; and stepson, Charles Griffin.

Survivors include her daughter, Vera Griffin Williams of Natchez; stepdaughter, Delores Stumps of Natchez; Youth Choir and Shiloh Baptist Church Family; and godbrother, Calvin Bradley of Stone Mountain, Ga.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
