Pit bull at center of Jonesville arrests

JONESVILLE — Jonesville Police arrested two men Thursday after one man allegedly stole a pit bull dog and sold it to the other, according to police reports.
Robby Dewayne Woods, 27, 202 First St., was arrested on charges of theft of animals and criminal trespassing. He remained in the Catahoula Parish Jail Thursday on $15,000 bond.
Jamie Lee Duncan, 37, 613 Gohegan St., Jonesville, was arrested on charges of illegal possession of stolen property.
He was released on $7,500 bond.
Both Woods and Duncan were arrested after the investigation into the theft of pit bull dog from its owner.
Woods allegedly stolen the dog and sold it to Duncan, according to police reports.
