NATCHEZ — Services for Annie G. Jones, 88, of Natchez, who died Monday, April 30, 2007, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. today at Pine Grove Baptist Church, in Stampley, with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Jones was born Feb. 3, 1919, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Mose and Daisy Green.

She attended schools in Jefferson and Adams counties and later was owner and operator of White House Cleaners. She retired in 1998.

She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and spent time sewing, cooking, fishing and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Archie Ray Jones; eight sisters and a number of nephews and friends.

Survivors include, a brother, Semo Green of Natchez; her sister, Mamie L. Mazique of Natchez; sisters-in-law, Margie McBride of Dallas, Texas and Oprah Jones of Jacksonville, Texas; brother-in-law, Lee Arthur Davis of Jefferson County; special niece, Courtney Sims of Natchez; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
