MEADVILLE — Services for Isreal “Pep” Cameron, 80, of Meadville, who died Friday, May 4, 2007, in Jackson, will be 11 a.m. today at New Fork United Methodist Church.

Burial will follow at Meadville Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home, Bude.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. Cameron was born Oct. 6, 1926, in Meadville, the son of Buster and Roxie Cameron. He was a member of the American Legion and Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Cameron; his parents; a son, Glen Cameron Sr.; and daughter-in-law, Gracie V. Cameron.

Survivors include his sons, Dannye Cameron and wife, Parthenia, both of Houston, Texas, Raymond Cameron and wife, Dechea, and Larry Cameron and wife, Sarah, all of Meadville; daughter, Glenda Brown and husband, Joe Willie, both of Baton Rouge; brother, Raymond Cameron and wife, Lue, both of Beaumont, Texas; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
