Natchez — Services for Joseph J. Baroni, 87, of Natchez, who died May 19, 2007, at his daughter’s home in Sicily Island, will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 2:40 p.m. at Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Baroni was born October 19, 1919, in Tallulah, La., the son of Antonia and Attila Mary Baroni. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Thelma Whittington Baroni and four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his son, Joseph C. Baroni of Natchez; two daughters, Mable Shelton of Sicily Island and Dorothy Massey of Jena; three grandchildren, Michael Shelton, Joey Baroni and David Baroni; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Warren and Alice Dunn, both of Natchez; one brother, Louis Baroni of Natchez.

Pallbearers wil be Joey Baroni, T.J. Baroni, David Baroni, Mike Shelton, Bobby Shelton and Joshua Shelton.
