Services for Shelby Taylor Shannon Jr., of Natchez, formerly of Vick, La., who died Friday, May 25, 2007, in Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville, La.

Burial will follow in French Cemetery, Effie, La., under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, and from 8 a.m. Monday until time of service.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth F. Shannon, son Steve Shannon and wife Alicia, both of Natchez, two daughters Julie Kelley and husband Dwayne, both of Monticello , Ark., Erin Halford of Brandon, Miss., Grandchildren Grace Shannon, Rochelle Jameson and husband David, Cristin Halford, great grandchildren Braydon Shannon and Gavin Kelley, brother Truitt Shannon of Effie and sister Eddie Dunn of Vick.
