NATCHEZ — Services for Lucien “Sonny” Finn Jr., of Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2007, with the Rev. Louis Sklar, the Rev. Wayne Gray and the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.

Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery in Clayton under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be at Young’s Funeral Home from 3 to 5 p.m. today.

Mr. Finn was born Oct. 20, 1926, in Natchez and passed away Friday, June 8, 2007, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday. He was a resident of Ferriday, retired from the International Paper Company and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. Finn coached boxing in Natchez for 15 years and was an avid LSU Tiger and Huntington Hound fan. He served his country in the United States navy during World War II and the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jucien Guy and Mary Finn, and his sister, Kitty Adams.

Survivors include his wife, Ada Finn; sons Mickey Finn and wife, Donna, both of Natchez, Richard Finn of Birmingham and Manson Nelson Jr. of Natchez; daughters Vickey Kelly and husband Pat, both of Duncannon, Pa., Traci Swilley and husband Bo, both of Natchez and Debbie Guillory and husband Tony of Ferriday; grandchildren Michael Finn and wife, Kendra, Aimee Townsend and husband, Kevin, Brent Swilley, Seth Swilley, Veronica Duncan, Lindsey Dupree, Jamie Huffman, Joshua Guillory and Kyzar Huff and great-grandchildren Jackson Merrick, Presley Finn, Joseph Finn and Hunter Townsend.

Pallbearers will be Seth Swilley, Brent Swilley, Josh Guillory, Kyzar Huff, Jimmy Stogner, Trey Brasher and Josh Lee.

Honorary pallbearers are Jack Pitchford, Charles Stutson, George Rouse and Carmen Cameron.
