NATCHEZ — Services for Alvato Whitley, 102, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Zion Flower Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Alexander officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Mr. Whitley was born Aug. 25, 1904, the son of Dave Whitley and Estella Jones Whitley. He was a member of Clover Hill Lodge No. 13, Linwood Society and honorary deacon of Zion Flower Baptist Church.
