NATCHEZ – Services for Stephen Dean Kirk, 50, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 15, 2007, at his home, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Parkway Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bart M. Walker officiating.

Burial will follow at 4 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the service at the church.

Mr. Kirk was born January 29, 1957, in Jackson, the son of Carlton and Carolyn Kirk.

He will be remembered by family and friends for his great love of God, family, friends, Christian world missions and classic cars. Steve was a mechanic and specialized in diesel engine and tractor trailer repair.

He is preceded in death by his twin sister, Cheryl Ann, brother Mark, and father Carlton Kirk, maternal grandparents W.D. and Doris Lammons, both of Yazoo City, and paternal grandparents Kenneth and Inez Kirk, both of Yazoo City.

Survivors include his daughter, Candice Kirk; granddaughter Alyssa irk; mother Carolyn Kirk, all of Natchez; sister Linda Hulbert and her husband Lee, both of Gilbert, Ariz.; brothers Ronnie Kirk of Natchez and Randy Kirk of Tonto Basin, Ariz.; nieces Brandi Baker, Shannon Hulbert, Sarah Kirk, nephews Adam Kirk and Kirk Hulbert; great-nephew Gabe Kirk and two great-nieces, Isabella Kirk and Brynlee Baker.

Pallbearers will be David Jackson, Brad Fondren, Bobby Short, Leon Atkins, Doug Thomas and Randall Winborne.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial offerings be made to Parkway Baptist Church Missions Fund, 117 Seargent S. Prentiss Drive, Natchez, MS 39120, or to Hospice Ministries, 118 Lower Woodville Road, Natchez, or to a charity of your choice.
