JONESVILLE — Services for Nellie Davis McClure, 69, of Jonesville, who died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Minden, La., will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Jonesville, with the Rev. Marshall Douglas officiating.

Burial will follow at Jena Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville. Visitation was from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. McClure was born November 6, 1937 in Catahuola Parish, the daughter of John A. Davis and Stella Ficklin Davis.

She was a resident of Jonesville, a bookkeeper for LaSalle Community Action and a member of the first Baptist Church of Jonesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Billy Gautreau.

Survivors include daughters Debbie and her husband John Reeves and Nelwyn and her husband Ronnie King, all of Jonesville; granddaughter Leigh and her husband Greg Powell; grandsons John Austin Reeves, Roy King and Ryan King; granddaughter Erin Reeves and great grandsons Jackson and Landry Powell.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Davis, Ricky Blunschi, Ernie Reeves, Jim Farmer, Charlie Campbell Jr. and Darrell Floyd.
