GLOSTER — Services for Ronald A. Perry, 75, longtime resident of Crosby, who died Friday, June 29, 2007, at Field Memorial Community Hospital, in Centreville, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bernard Waites officiating.

Burial will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery, near Crosby, under the direction of Brown Funeral Home, Gloster.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Perry was born Jan. 30, 1932, in Natchez, the son of George Verlis Perry and Myrtis Vines Perry. He was a retired power plant operator with International Paper Company, in Natchez. Mr. Perry was also a farmer. He was a member of Perrytown Church of Christ. Mr. Perry also was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Georgene Perry Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne P. Perry of Crosby; his sons, Michael P. Perry and wife, Cathy, of Crosby and Steven E. Perry and wife, Anita, of Brandon; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Thomas J. Perry and wife, Joyce, of Crosby; sisters, Charlotte Boykin and husband, L. H., of Morgan City, La., and Judy Shell and husband, Kermit, of Roxie; brother-in-law, Morris Jackson of Baker; numerous nieces and nephews.
