Four members of the Natchez DAR Chapter in Natchez attended the Heartland District Meeting of Mississippi State Society DAR at East Central Community College at Decatur, Miss., on Friday, July 20. They were as follows: Mary Willard, Margaret House, Juliette Cassagne and Susan Cassagne. Also attending was Leslie Bruning, Regent of the William Dunbar Chapter.

State Regent Polly Hunter Grimes of Aberdeen introduced the members of her State Board of Management. Included was Juliette Cassagne of the Natchez Chapter. Miss Cassagne is the State Chairman of the Junior Membership Committee.

This committee’s goal is to reach out to new members 18 to 35 years of age. She also serves as Chairman of the Natchez Chapter Junior Membership Committee.

Each chapter regent received a packet of information concerning the many activities the chapter may participate in during the coming year.
