Clarence Howington

WISNER — Services for Clarence Eugene Howington, 88, of Wisner, who died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Camelot Leisure Living, in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. today at Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou with the Rev. Gary Howington officiating.
Burial will follow at South Central Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home, Ferriday.
Mr. Howington was born Dec. 12, 1918, in Baskin, La., the son of William Robert and Prudie Jane Howington. He was a master plumber. Mr. Howington was a member of the Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Charlie and Lucius Howington.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Howington of Wisner; sons, Rodney Howington of Kenner, Charlie Howington of Wisner and Gary Howington of Ferriday; grandchildren, Todd, Seth and Dean Howington, Haven Howington Blackmon, Melody Howington, Jeremy Howington and Tara Howington Myers; and sister, Dora Sims of Wisner.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Howington, Dean Howington, Seth Howington, Todd Howington, Travis Blackmon and Jerry Myers.
