NATCHEZ — Services for Helen Rae Rodriguez, 60, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Natchez First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Wynn officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Natchez First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born May 12, 1947, in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Bernard Charles and Juanita Cox Cross. She was a member of First Baptist Church Natchez. Mrs. Rodriguez was a 1965 graduate of Natchez High School. She was a charter member of “The Royal Nana’s.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rod and Juanita Wimberly.

Survivors include her husband, Michael P. “Mickey” Rodriguez Sr. of Natchez; children, Charles Shannon Daniels and wife, Ashley, of College Grove, Tenn., Kelly D. Garrett and husband, Randall, of Lexington, S.C. and Jackie M. Daniels of Natchez; stepchildren, Michael P. Rodriguez Jr. and wife, Ashley, of Springhill, Tenn. and Elise Rodriguez Deano of Long Beach; grandchildren, Katherine and Brandon Daniels, Kendall and Lane Garrett and Morgan and Mary Kate Huber; four step- grandchildren; and brother, John Wimberly and wife, Margaret, of Wilmington, N.C.

Pallbearers will be Jason Wimberly, Brian Wimberly, Jamie Holloway, Chad Huber, Jake Jones and Mike Crain.
