Please select honest county leaders

When choosing a person for any job the two most important qualities are honesty and integrity. No matter how experienced a person is at that particular job, it does not mean anything if they are not honest.

The same goes for our elected officials. If all other things are equal, then experience can be the deciding factor. The citizens of Adams County can go to the polls and make a statement that we want our elected officials to serve with integrity and not half-truths and misleading statements. It is obvious to me and many other people that we need some new leadership. We need the county and city to work together not against each other.

Change for the sake of change is not the answer, but change because the present supervisors are not getting the job done is what must be done if Natchez and Adams County are going to prosper.

We do have some leaders that are trying to do the right thing but the majority are self-serving.

There are at least two individuals running for office in this election that have been convicted or admitted guilt to crimes, to me that is a red flag. If you choose to believe that these were honest mistakes that is your prerogative, but I still don’t think they should get your vote.

I do not want a bad bookkeeper keeping track of my money.

There are some very good people running in the upcoming county elections let’s give them a chance.

Remember, honesty and integrity — it does not take a rocket scientist to do these jobs, just ordinary honest folks.
