NATCHEZ — Services for Sherry Davis, 51, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. today at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Wright officiating.

Burial will follow at Skinner Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until service time.

Ms. Davis was born on Sept. 11, 1955, in Adams County, the daughter of Monroe Davis Sr. and Sarah Herring Davis.

She graduated from North Natchez High School in 1973.

Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include Marcus D. Davis and companion Janiiki Watkins, both of Natchez; daughter Sara Ashley Davis, of Natchez; two brothers, Monroe Davis Jr., of Natchez, and Cedric Williams, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Marquiana, Ja’niya and Marcus Davis Jr., all of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
