Festival tickets are going fast

Natchez — Tickets for portions of this weekend’s Natchez Food & Wine Festival are still available, but organizers warn the tickets are going fast.

Two of Saturday’s events, the British high tea Natchez style and the progressive lunch event, are already sold out.

4Friday’s “Tastings Along the River,” a giant wine and food tasting beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Natchez Convention Center. Advance tickets are $40, $50 at the door.

4Saturday’s “Royal Wine & Cheese Tasting with Paul Burrell,” 2 p.m. at the Convention Center. Paul’s expertise is a result of serving Queen Elizabeth for 11 years at Buckingham Palace and Princess Diana for 10 years at Kensington Palace. Tickets are $25.

4Saturday’s “Southern Cocktails with Denise Gee,” a mixology class at 3:30 p.m. at the convention center. Tickets are $25.

4“Brews on the Bluff” and a Bocce Ball competition, all at Bowie’s Tavern beginning at 4 p.m. Food provided by Natchez Best BBQ. Tickets are $25.

4 “An Invitation to the Natchez Table.” Chefs of regional and national renown prepare four courses with fine wine served at several antebellum houses. Seats are limited and some locations are already sold out. Tickets are $75.
