4 Registration for the Miss-Lou Youth Football League is Aug. 18 and Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration fee is $60 for football and $50 for cheerleading. The fee covers helmet and shoulder pads that have to be turned in at the end of the season, a game jersey, team photo and a trophy. For cheerleaders, the fee includes a uniform and a team photo.

Tryouts are on Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. for the 12-year-old and under and at 2 p.m. 10-year-old and under. Tryouts will be at the Vidalia High School Field. Season starts Sept. 15.

4 Huntington High School will have its “Meet the Hounds” on Tuesday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. at the football stadium.
