PRENTISS — Services for Katherine Jackson Johnson, of Prentiss, who died Saturday, April 4, 2007, will at 11 a.m. today at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mrs. Johnson was born Oct. 19, 1946, in Jackson County, the daughter of the late Willie E. Bolton and the late Gussie Mae Jackson. She was adopted by Leona Rancifer. She was known for her love of people and her warm and friendly manner. Many affectionately knew her as “Mama” or “Aunt Kat” and she will be greatly missed.
