Former members of the church and staff will make up the program.

Among those returning to take part in the activities are Dr. Victor Walsh, former minister of music; Rev. Ed Griffin, now retired and living in Hammond, La.; Evelyn Lee, now living in St. Francisville, La., will be the guest pianist for both services; Dr. Bill Hilbun, a medical doctor who has gone on several medical mission trips; Patricia Simmons, who retired from the Mississippi Baptist Women’s Union as a consultant with the G.A. program; Alice Dominic, who worked with the Southern Baptist Home Missions Board; and Rev. Tom McCurley; now a retired Baptist preacher; and others will return home.

There will be a memorial service, a special recognition, and a celebration of a local Baptist church which has been active in gospel ministry since its birth in 1824.
