Good news for Natchez-Adams County as well as the Miss-Lou area. Brother Alvin Shelby and the Holy Family School are sponsoring a musical fundraiser at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Natchez City Auditorium.
Brother Alvin Shelby, one of the most renowned musicians in these United States, has been music director and associated with Holy Family schools for more than 25 years. If you will recall sometime back he was recognized by the Bluff City Post as one of the most outstanding men in our community and just recently, The Natchez Democrat recognized him as our Man of the Year. Everyone knows about Holy Family School being the oldest African-AmericanCatholic school in the state of Mississippi. Wow, what a team, Alvin Shelby and Holy Family School.
The fundraiser is to benefit the Holy Family children with their school needs.
We hope that all can come out and fellowship and worship together, but if you can’t come out, please send someone and, of course, send a donation for a most worthy cause.
