Mildred Brazell

JONESVILLE – Services for Mildred “Maw Sis” Brazell, 77, of Jonesville, who died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, in Alexandria, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Lake Lily Baptist Church with the Revs. Frank Bass and Eric Peyton officiating.
Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery, in Manifest, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today the church.
Mrs. Brazell was born Nov. 1, 1929, in Jonesville, the daughter of Jason Jeddie Bass and Queenie Rowena Bass. She was a homemaker and a member of Lake Lily Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Brazell; her parents; son, Robbie Edward Brazell; brother, William Maycel Bass.
Survivors include her sons, Leon Brazell Jr. and wife, Sallie, Johnny Brazell and wife, Coonee, of Belah, and Jim Mike Brazell and wife, Gail, of Scottsboro, Ala.; daughter, Marsha Baker and husband, Billy, of Jonesville; brother, J.W. Bass of Joplin, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason LaCroix, Isreal Kimbrough, Matthew Brazell, Lank Bass, David Neal and Scott Brazell.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons and men of the church.
Memorials may be made to Lake Lily Baptist Church of a charity of choice.
