Pearl Flowers

NATCHEZ — Services for Pearl Flowers, 75, of Natchez, who died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at Alliance Laird Regional Hospital in Union, Miss., will be 2 p.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Revs. Bart Walker and Mark Vincent officiating.
Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery, near Meadville.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Monday at Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Flowers was born May 3, 1932, in McCall Creek, Miss., the daughter of Frank Hardin and Florence Arnold Hardin. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter Charlotte Smith and husband Eddie, both of Decatur; sons Elwin Flowers and wife Micki, both of Natchez; Larry Flowers and wife Daisey, both of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and Gary Flowers of Johnson City, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; sister Helen Funk of Rockford, Ill.; brother C’omer Hardin of Smithdale, Miss.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Billy Murray, Curtis King, Bruce Ellard, W.C. Pearson, Frank Dungan and Danny Parsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Flowers and Shane Pollan.
Memorials may be made to Parkway Baptist Church.
