John Foster

EL PASO, Texas — Services for John Benjamin “J.B.” Foster, 76, of El Paso, formerly of Natchez, who died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, in El Paso, were held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at El Paso Mission Funeral Home.

Burial followed at Fort Bliss Soldiers Cemetery, in El Paso, under the direction of El Paso Mission Funeral Home.

Mr. Foster was born April 14, 1931, in Sibley, the son of Sam and Retta Foster. He attended St. Francis School at Laura Hill in Beverly. He was retired but continued to work with his love interest as a mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James L. Foster.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 37 years, Juanita Foster; his children, Anthony Foster, Rebecca Murphy and Christopher Foster, all of El Paso, Evelyn Foster, Esther Oterga and husband, James, Elizabeth Foster and Mary Lou Herra, all of Oxnard, Calif., Johnny Foster and wife, Eva, and Eddie Foster, all of Bakersfield, Calif.; sister, Ethel Foster; and aunts, Hattie Barns and husband, Gabriel, Mary Lee Williams and Sarah Broadway, all of Natchez.

Pallbearers were friends of the family.
