NATCHEZ — Services for Nathaniel “Muddy” Washington, 47, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christian Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. John Scott Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Greater St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Washington was born April 28, 1960, the son of Linsey McGowan and Margaret Sheppard Washington King.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his daughter, Tasha Washington; grandchildren, Miracle Washington and Lionel Washington; brothers, Levander Washington and wife, Patsy, and Obada By Kendrick Washington, all of Natchez; sisters, Mary Lee White of Vidalia, Barbara Culbert and husband, Donald, of Fayette, Estella Washington of Texas and Patricia Jones of Natchez; other relatives and friends.
