NATCHEZ — Services for Pete M. Jackson, 51, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, in Natchez, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church with Rosary at 9:30 a.m.

Mr. Jackson was born Dec. 24, 1955, the son of Hattie Jackson. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Survivors include his mother, Hattie M. Jackson of Natchez; brother, Cortez L. Dixon Jr. and wife, Catherine, of Arlington Heights, Ill.; sister, Lawanda J. Wideman and husband, Fred, of Fairburn, Ga.; aunt, Sister Mary Bonaventure of Alexandria, Mary Warren and Joyce Holmes, both of Atlanta; uncle, Lanus Holmes Jr.; son, Terrell “Ebony” Chatman; stepchildren, Kinda Chatman, Shumeka Chatman, Ronald Chatman and Earnest Chatman; grandfather, Lanus Holmes; nieces, Dana Dixon, Kimberly Dixon and Nailah Wideman; and nephew, Brandon Bell.
