Trolley is great addition to Vidalia

I think Vidalia is monumentally worthy of acclaim for its innovative and forward thinking accomplishments, most evidenced by what we see looking from the Natchez side of the river. Go, Vikings.
Now we have even more to look forward to with its purchase of the Natchez Trolley. Soon it will be shuffling bodies up and down the Riverfront, stopping and dropping at points in between. Bam! That sounds like a hoot and holler to me. What we have here, folks, is something useful with a quite a little desirable by-product called fun! What usually happens when useful and fun collide? I think it’s called “a winner! “
I loved riding the trolley when it was over here and looking across the river — even before the landscape got spectacular. And then one day, kind of like the Oldsmobile Aurora, it was gone. But now, thanks Vidalia, I can ride it over there and look over here.
Mayor Hyram Copeland and company, I have just one small request. Could you please let it run at night, too, maybe on special occasions? I volunteer to be the conductor and lead the singing. “We were sailing along, on Moonlight Bay . . .
