NATCHEZ — Services for Lee Cal “L.C.” Sherman, 56, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Southwood Lodge Baptist Church, in Kingston, with the Rev. James Washington officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Sherman was born June 9, 1951, in Saginaw, Mich., the son of L.C. Sherman Sr. and Elizabeth Quinn Sherman. He attended Natchez-Adams School District and was employed with Natchez Coca-Cola for 35 years. He was retired.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and grandparents, Daisy Shelby and Henry Quinn.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 35 years, Ernestine Sherman; a son, Steven Verill Sherman of Natchez; father, L.C. Sherman Sr. of Saginaw, Mich.; a brother, Howard Sherman and wife, Shirley, both of Natchez; sister, Karen Sherman of Natchez; aunts, Mary Ruth Holloway of Natchez, Bernice Dix and husband, William, and Beatrice Sherman Chapman and husband, James, all of Saginaw; and granddaughter, Khalia Anay Sherman of Natchez.
Pallbearers will be Efrem Winston, James Washington, Michael Washington and Robert Hill.
