The 16-year-old accused of murdering his parents and another teen in March is competent to stand trial, officials said.
After reviewing the results of a sanity-panel formed after Conner Wood pleaded “not guilty by reason of insanity” to three indictments of first-degree murder, Judge Leo Boothe ruled Wednesday morning that Wood is fit to face trial.
Wood’s legal counsel has until Dec. 21 to file any new motions regarding the case.
