NATCHEZ – Services for Isabella Washington Bernard, of Natchez, will be at 1 p.m. today at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. James Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bernard was born Sept. 29, 1949, in Adams County, the daughter of Rebecca W. Jones and Bowdy White Sr. She attended Natchez College. Mrs. Bernard was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, James Earl Bernard Sr.; daughters, DeJohnda Hughes and husband, Mark, and Tiffinee Bernard and Cyrus Mitchell; a son, James Earl Bernard Jr. and wife, Veronica; brothers, Clarence Jones Jr., Carol Jones, Joseph Jones and wife, Kadelia, and Walter Jones and wife, Veleshia; sisters, Mary Jackson and husband, Robert, and Barbara Ann Jones; great aunts, Celestine Joel and Jane Strauder; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Annie Lee Clark and Beatrice Lewis and husband, Jessie; a number of nieces, nephews; and a godchild, Roderick Bernard.

Pallbearers will be Masonic Lodge members.
