UNION CHURCH — Services for Willie Dede Short, 45, of Jackson, who died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hickory Block United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marvin Eanochs officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Short was born Sept. 8, 1962, in Adams County, the son of Leo Short Sr. and Essie Mae Brown. He was employed as a hairdresser. He was a member of Bell Hill Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include a number of other relatives and friends.
