NATCHEZ – Services for Millie Murray Washington, 72, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Second Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Strickland officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Washington was born Feb. 13, 1935, in Adams County, the daughter of Aaron and Gertrude Murray. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Washington enjoyed fishing. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Washington; her parents; and sister.
Survivors include her daughters, Anna Reason of Vicksburg, Dorothy Reason, Cassandra Washington and Decher Washington, all of Natchez, and Myra Reason of Alexandria, La.; sons, Nathaniel Reason and Steve Washington, both of Natchez; sisters, Inez Foster, Rosetta Murray, Mary Murray and Alberta Easton, all of Natchez; brothers, Aaron Murray of Hampton, Va., Willis Murray of Baltimore, Md. and James Murray of Natchez; aunt, Annie Mazique of Natchez; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and loved ones.
