Thank you for returning lost purse

I had finished shopping at Wal-Mart this particular day and drove home. When I started to get out of the car I reached for my purse and it wasn’t there.

That is a bad feeling. You ladies understand even if you don’t have much money in your purse, you still want your “stuff.” Besides the purse was a gift.

I went back to Wal-Mart and I prayed all the way there. You see about a month or two before this happened I was waiting for a lady to leave her parking space at Wal-Mart so I could park there. As soon as I parked I discovered she had left her purse in a buggy. I took it to the courtesy desk not daring to open it for any reason. While I was praying on my way back to Wal-Mart I reminded God of this. Please let someone do the same for me. I prayed. Some ladies (bless them) let me go before them and before I got to the desk an employee got my purse from under the counter. She was smiling. I was crying.

I raised my hands and praised the Lord. So if you’re the lady who turned my purse in (the one with a daschund-wennie dog on both sides) I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Natchez Democrat for printing this for me.
