Bessie Melton Hutchinson

PASCAGOULA — Services for Bessie Melton Hutchinson, of Pascagoula, formerly of Sturgis and Natchez, who died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Pascagoula.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, in Ackerman, under the direction of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Hutchinson was born in West. She lived her last eight years in Pascagoula.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, George D. Hutchinson.

Survivors include her children, Donald Hutchinson and wife, Dee, both of Lebanon, Tenn., Anna Hutchinson Carron and husband, Richard, both of Mandeville, La., Jeanette Hutchinson Warren and husband, Will, both of Pascagoula and Dick Hutchinson and wife, Sandra, both of Madison; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Pascagoula, 902 Live Oak Ave., Pascagoula, MS 39567.
