BUDE – Services for Billy Eugene Tyson, 78, of Bude, who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at Meadville Nursing Home, will be at 11 a.m. today at Bude Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery, in Meadville, under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.

Mr. Tyson was born March 18, 1929, in Franklin County, the son of William Hardy “Bill” Tyson and Fidella Lazarus Tyson. He was a member of Bude Baptist Church. He was self employed. Mr. Tyson also served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Tyson of Bude; sons, Barry Tyson of Meadville; daughter, Ann Tyson Speyer of Herndon, Va.; brother, Donald Tyson of Natchez; and three grandchildren.
