CHICAGO — Services for Sandra Lee Griffin Davis, 64, who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, will be 3 p.m. today at Zion Mount Baptist Church in Bude.
Burial will follow at Zion Mount Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was from 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Bude, and will be from 2 p.m. until service time today at the church.
Ms. Davis was born Nov. 6, 1943, in Adams County, the daughter of Sandy and Elizabeth Smith Griffin.
She was a member of the Local No. 880 Employee’s International Union. She was employed by Bethel New Life Inc. over 17 years in Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Oliver and Genora Griffin, grandmother; Elizabeth Jenkins; aunts, Charity White, Laura Sanders; uncles, Charlie Ware, John Tyler Sr., James Smith and Monroe Griffin.
Survivors include two sons; James Kennady and wife Tammy Griffin and Melvin and wife Lolitha Griffin; six sisters, Dorothy and husband Coleman Bruce, Genora Norman, Alma Lee Tenner, Gloria and husband Billie Nelson, Patricia and husband Roosevelt Sr. Tenner and Priscilla and husband Cornelius Tenner; two brothers, Garfield and wife Mamie and Sandy and wife Debra Ann Griffin Jr.; and seven grandchildren, Melvin, Oscar, Kennitra, SeQuita and Zasper Griffin, Desiree Rodgers and Michael Duke; four great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
