FERRIDAY — Services for Martha V. Tennison, 76, who died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2008, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Barry Dennis officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Young’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tennison was born Aug. 12, 1931, in Eudora, Ark., the daughter of William and Pearl Elizabeth Varnell.

She was a resident of Clayton, and a member of the Sicily Island First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Erven Tennison.

Survivors include son; Bill Tennison and his wife Nancy of Vidalia, two daughter; Pam Arthur and her husband Morris of Monterey, Leslie Kennedy and her husband Brian of Monterey, three grandsons; Brannon Arthur and his wife Kristy of Vidalia, Barrett Arthur of Ferriday, and Kolby Kennedy of Monterey, two granddaughters; Megan Viguerie and her husband Nick of Zachary, La., and Kassie Kennedy of Monterey, step-granddaughter; Candace Iiale and step-grandson; Casey Iiale.

Pallbearers will be C.J. Barron, Carroll Barron, Randy Ward, Winfield Ward, Larry Clayton and Tommy Denning.
