WATERPROOF, La. – Services for Barbara Lomie Taylor, 91, of Chicago, formerly of Waterproof, La., who died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at the Advance Christ Medical Center, in Oak Lawn, Ill., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof.

Burial will follow at Good Samaritan Cemetery, in Waterproof, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Mrs. Taylor was born Dec. 3, 1916, in Waterproof, the daughter of Westly and Molly Garner Taylor.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Bergeron of Chicago; brother, Leon Taylor of Chicago; sister, Phyllistene Taylor of New York; nephew, D.C. Thomas of Waterproof; and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
