Perhaps one day, Ms. Finley will be able to understand about the No. 1 team in the nation and its “proud, loud and overwhelming” fans. If in your lifetime, Ole Miss can become the SEC Champions and win the BCS title, even you too might become proud, loud and overwhelming.

Hopefully, LSU fans will never be just “regular” and will always stay friendly and loving people — even toward jealous Ole Miss fans.

Congratulations are in order for Coach Les Miles and the 2007 football team.

Purple and gold are for royalty! Green stands for the money that is brought in to the city and state that hosted the National Championship game. I’ll bet it overflowed to our area. Just talk to Bowie’s Tavern or ask Sports Center about their LSU merchandise sales.
